Alexander Mortland (BUILDER & dIRECTOR)

Alexander leads an energetic and capable team at Mortbuild, who efficiently meet project deadlines and budgets, whilst maintaining an impeccable standard of work.

Alexander has a background in accounting, and has an in depth understanding of project management, budgeting and business management. After completing his schooling in Brisbane, Alexander went onto complete a Bachelor of Commerce at the University of Queensland. After working in a national accounting firm for 3 years, he realised his true passion lay in building. Alexander completed a four year carpentry apprenticeship with a leading inner-city Brisbane builder. Alexander commenced Mortbuild in 2015 motivated to produce stunning, high quality renovations and new builds. You will find Alexander regularly onsite, he enjoys being out on the tools and supporting his team on each project.
